Hike Inn 2025

December 17, 2024 by stephanie.cornais |

In January 2024, I hiked to The Hike Inn with my closest friends to celebrate my birthday. I had planned it nearly a year in advance, knowing that creating meaningful experiences with friends would help me stay connected after moving to a new place.

For years, hiking to The Hike Inn had been on my bucket list, and it exceeded every expectation, even in the quiet beauty of winter. It was more than just a getaway; it was a chance to deepen friendships, create inside jokes, and make new memories together.

Now, I want YOU to experience that same magic.

Join Me for a Transformational Weekend in Nature

Over Memorial Day Weekend (January 16-18, 2025), I’m inviting 12 mothers and daughters to step away from the noise of daily life and immerse themselves in nature, connection, and personal growth. Parenting teenage daughters is not for the faint of heart, and this weekend will be a chance to not only connect with nature but also strengthen your connection to your daughter.

Why This Retreat?

Planning an adventure can feel overwhelming, but I take care of the details so you don’t have to. From packing guidance to hiking safety tips, I’ll support you every step of the way.

Once we arrive at The Hike Inn, you’ll enjoy:
✔️ Three nourishing meals per day
✔️ Guided hikes through stunning landscapes
✔️ Daily yoga sessions to restore and energize
✔️ Nature journaling and creative reflection activities
✔️ Meaningful group discussions to deepen self-awareness & connection
✔️ Plenty of downtime to rest, recharge, and soak in the beauty around you

Who Is This For?

🌿 Women seeking clarity, inspiration, and adventure
🌿 Those craving a break from the daily grind to reconnect with nature
🌿 Anyone who wants to strengthen friendships or build new ones in a supportive space

You don’t have to be an experienced hiker—just bring an open heart and a willingness to explore.

Give Yourself the Gift of Renewal

This retreat is more than just a weekend away—it’s an opportunity to reset, reflect, and return home feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and deeply connected to what matters most.

Come with a friend or arrive solo—either way, you’ll find a sense of belonging. Sometimes, the best version of yourself emerges among strangers who become lifelong friends.

Are you ready to say YES to adventure, connection, and transformation?

Frequently Asked Questions

❓ What’s the best travel plan if I’m flying in?
Flying in on Friday is a great idea! I’ll drive up Friday afternoon to Dahlonega, GA, which is about a two-hour drive from Atlanta Airport (ATL).

If you’re renting a car, you have flexibility—you can stay in Dahlonega or explore one of the many charming towns between the airport and the trailhead. I recommend checking in early enough to have dinner in town and get a good night’s rest before our adventure.

Book a late afternoon or evening flight on Monday for your return. We’ll hike for a few hours in the morning before heading back, so plan for at least a two-hour drive to the airport.

❓ How many miles will we be hiking per day?

  • Saturday: 5-mile hike to The Hike Inn
  • Sunday: Optional hikes ranging from 1 to 5 miles
  • Monday: 5-mile hike back to the trailhead

❓ What are the sleeping arrangements at The Hike Inn?
The Hike Inn has double occupancy rooms, so you’ll be paired with a roommate. If you’re coming with a friend, I can room you together. If you’re coming solo, I’ll match you with another attendee.

❓ Do we need to bring linens or a sleeping bag?
No need! The Hike Inn provides all bedding and linens so you can pack light.

❓ Will there be a packing list?
Yes! I’ll send you a detailed packing list with everything you need, including clothing, gear, and personal items.

❓What if I am coming alone?

Awesome! You won’t regret it. I will host a Zoom meeting in March and April to discuss a fitness plan if you want to improve your fitness routine before the hike and discuss packing and other logistics. These meetings will also allow us to see faces and meet people online before we gather in person.
