Day 2 of my @oars_rafting with @florence999 included a private show with @rapidgrass and it was one of the most magical parts of the trip. What a gift to listen to live music in the middle of an insanely gorgeous canyon.

I mean I knew I talked with my hands, and moved around a lot, but seeing my presentation on 10x speed makes it really clear what a busy body I am. 😂

I had an awesome experience today presenting about place-based outdoor classrooms at the FCIS conference in Orlando. Hoping it helps more students and teachers get outside and spend time in nature.

This is Day 1. We drove three hours from Vernal, UT to Colorado to start our trip on the Green River at the Gates of Lodore.

Most of the time I’m in a baseball hat, sunglasses, t-shirt, jeans and Birkenstocks. Sometimes I’m in the mood to dress up. Eras Tour once more last weekend in Miami was a good excuse to sparkle. Still wore sneakers though, because it’s me, Hi.

When I took my Environmental Science kids on their

When I took my Environmental Science kids on their fall semester field trip this week, we were blessed with perfect weather and lots of wildlife sightings.

This is only the second time I’ve been to Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, but it feels like a place I’ve known forever. Partly because of the surrounding Longleaf Pine forests remind me of my beloved Red Hills, but also because of my childhood memories growing up near Everglades National Park. These places have made me into the person I am now, and Okefenokee feels like home.

I hope my students remember this day, and remember this place, and they carry these memories with them the rest of their life. And I hope that one day all of my favorite places-Everglades to Okefenokee to Apalachicola National Forest will be connected through the @floridawildlifecorridor
